Overview

ZetaScan is a document scanning and PDF management app for iPhone and iPad. We designed ZetaScan so your documents stay under your control. We do not operate our own servers to store your scans, and we do not sell your personal information.

Information We Process

Documents and content you create

When you scan, import, edit, or store PDFs, images, OCR text, folders, tags, bookmarks, signatures, and related metadata, that content is processed and stored on your device.

Permissions (used only when needed)

• Camera — to scan documents
• Photo Library — to import images as PDFs or for stamps/watermarks
• Face ID / Touch ID — only if you enable App Lock

We do not request microphone, location, contacts, Bluetooth, or tracking permissions.

App preferences

Settings such as OCR preferences, App Lock, and similar options are stored locally on your device (including via App Group shared storage used by the Share Extension and Home Screen widget).

On-Device Processing

OCR (text recognition), PDF editing, compression, markup, form filling, e-sign, password protection, and library search run on your device using Apple frameworks. Your document content is not uploaded to a ZetaScan developer server.

Sharing and Export

Content leaves your device only when you choose to share, print, export, or open it in another app.
